Bilge water separators

Facet offers several types of bilge water separator units. The separators are compact and highly adaptable to the available space onboard. In addition they are lightweight and require little maintenance. Operation is easy because it is fully automatic; all functions are controlled by an PLC.

The system removes hydrocarbons in two stages. In the first stage, free hydrocarbon is separated from water trough patented coalescent plate packs. In the second stage, emulsions are broken by a membrane which removes emulsified hydrocarbon, reaching down an effluent with total hydrocarbon content of less than 15 ppm.
